1 About the Intelligence Fiber Dome

WT-V400-D2F is a high speed intelligence dome with embedded optical transmitter, designed by WVT’s talent engineering team. Originated by user’s demanding for shorter installation period and better performance, this product connects camera, PTZ decoder and fiber transmitter internally and only exposes fiber and power line for outside connection, which makes installation more easily and metal shield also prevents external electrical noise to enhance system performance.

Lightning proof

Besides the internal function of lightning proof design for dome and optical transmitter, the data lines, video cables and power supply cable exposed are required to do lightning proof to achieve solid performance.

Connections between camera and optical transmitter are board level. And all parts are built within the dome metal shield to avoid any electromagnetic noise.

System Performance

The optical transmitter must be installed and non-stop running in a water-proof box under extreme hot, cold or high humidity weather.

System lifetime is cut-off due to the environments factors.

With embedded fan, heater and drier, both camera and optical transmitter are guaranteed in a better environment to extend device lifetime.

System Maintenance

As some optical transmission devices do not support network management system, it’s difficult to diagnose problems except that sending technical engineers to the camera side to do trouble shooting.

This solution supports remote management system. Any malfunction can be easily positioned at remote side via IP network. Also auto alarm function is supported when system failure.
